This song has time signatures like you wouldn’t believe. 
I write down the time signature per measure and try to explain the rhythm for parts that are complicated.
I think there are mostly two guitar tracks, recorded by Stu and Cook.

The pulse (hi-hat cymbal on drums) is in quarter notes, of which there are 15 per measure. 
The guitar riff plays in dotted quarter notes (think of it like 1.5 quarter notes). 
The pulse and guitar resolve after 15 pulses.

The verse riff could be viewed as pairs of 9/8, which goes out of sync with the drums 
every first measure but resolves every second measure. You could also consider it 9/4, 
which adds the trouble of starting the third five-note gallop on the “&” of the fifth count
of the measure. Below both are demonstrated together with where the drum accents fall.
